“In her work, Parish brilliantly applies the principles of DevOps — culture, communication, autonomy, feedback, and experimentation — to leadership fundamentals. You will find the tactical steps you need to embrace a growth mindset in your daily work (and life) as a leader in tech. You’ll find yourself reflecting on your leadership style, reevaluating your team’s mission and vision, and enabling everyone in your organization to iteratively improve. Whether you currently manage a team or have your eye on the C-suite, this is the first step in actualizing your leadership potential.”
In Stopping Your Own Toxic Leadership Styles , I'll Show You:
Dominant LeaderS
The typical all-knowing leader...

May yell or attempt to use force to get things done instead of developing a team.  Often feels frustrated by working with others.
STICKLER LEADERS
Random rules inhibit innovation...

Innovation is messy. Constraining the innovation landscape too early limits the number of new ideas.
CONFLICT ADVERSE
LEADERS
Causes regular & random chaos...

Systematic avoidence of conflict creates a lack of feedback loops that inhibit healthy problem solving which inhibits finding new and better solutions.
MANIPULATIVE LEADERS
Put their own needs first...

It can be difficult to find the clear direction for the team or organization when manipulation is present.

and more...
Hi, I'm Melanie Parish
I've been a coach for 20 years and I have had thousands of conversations with leaders just like you. You may have been promoted after being a top performer or you may have been leading for some time. You probably aren't feeling confident in your leadership path and hope people don't know you don't know how uncertain you feel as a leader. You probably spent time in school learning the technical aspects of your job but never had the leadership learning you needed. You feel like you might fail and you aren't quite sure how to skill up. You may feel anxious or scared at the end of the day and you may worry your will lose your job. You aren't used to a world where you aren't successful and it weight on your soul. You didn't know leadership would be so lonely and you aren't sure how to make it better.

I have had thousands of conversations with leaders like you and I have written a book and created workbooks and courses to help you learn the skills you need to lead well. Leadership is challenging even for good leaders and I have created step by step learning to get you on the right track. I believe leadership is a learned skill and I love creating programs that help people succeed. People who have worked with me feel good about themselves as leaders and to stop worrying at the end of the day. They feel solid about the choices they make and implement well thought out processes in their work. They feel successful because they learn the skills and build a solid foundation. They eventually feel like they are at choice and are ready for their next promotion. They feel great about the work they do.

I want to help you feel amazing as a leader! Let's get started!
